School is in and the band is forming! Let’s keep the excitement growing at the next YOS 2025 special event!

Karaoke night  Saturday January 11th at 6pm. Sign up, pick your favorite song, jump on the big stage and wow the crowd!

Concert Poster Contest

The stage is set, you’ve got your band and your first concert is coming soon! It’s time to get the word out.

Flex your imagination and art skills and create your first concert promotion poster! You’ll have from 6pm to 9pm to create your band promotion masterpiece while Karaoke night is happening all around you. At 9pm they will be collected and laid out for voting. Immediately after, the votes will be tallied and the winner announced.  Art supplies will be provided, but you can bring your own that fit the theme of your poster.

Individuals and teams are welcome to participate in this peer-reviewed contest.  The winner will receive a brand new bass guitar, amplifier and one month’s worth of free lessons at the School of Rock in Riverhead. (Note there is only one prize, teams will have to share.)

All concert posters created at this event will be saved and used to decorate the theater during the run of our School of Rock production this summer.
