Thank you for your support of North Fork Community Theatre’s “Building on Tradition” Campaign.
In 2012, with the support of the community, the NFCT purchased the building where we have performed for over 60 years. In 2013 we started renovations on the building by painting the exterior and restoring the 100+-year-old stained glass windows. We enlarged the parking lot, installed a new cesspool system and built a covered porch outside the lobby.
In August 2018, we started renovations to the NFCT’s interior. The first phase included a new orchestra pit beneath the stage, an expanded stage, a rehearsal room, modern theater technical infrastructure for lighting and rigging and more. In 2020 we installed a video wall at the back of the stage which allows us to display graphics/photos, video or even live stream during a performance. The bathrooms have been renovated and we have categorized and organized our upstairs prop and costume area. The most recent upgrade has been a new sound system, which will greatly enhance our audiences’ theater experience.
A future phase of renovations will include a new lobby, improved auditorium and new seats.
